Veterinarian
Dr. Sergiy Dariy received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, Diploma of Specialist, from the St. Petersburg Veterinary Institute, formerly the Leningrad Veterinary Institute, in 1992.
He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association. Over the years, Dr. Dariy has gained extensive experience in veterinary medicine and surgery, including work in a high-technology, multi-doctor veterinary practice in Texas, USA.
His special interests include veterinary dentistry, soft tissue surgery, skin disease management, reproduction, and pain management. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Dariy has also worked as a Senior Research Scientist in medical and animal laboratories at leading research facilities in France, Germany, Ukraine, and the United States.
His background in clinical research, education, patient care, and client communication has helped shape his thorough and compassionate approach to veterinary medicine. Guided by the principles of Good Clinical Practice and a strong work ethic, Dr. Dariy founded Weldrick Animal Hospital to bring his experience, knowledge, and dedication to the local community.
Dr. Dariy’s goal is to provide pets with the extra care, attention, and respect they deserve. Whether your pet needs routine wellness care, dental treatment, surgery, or more specialized medical attention, Dr. Dariy is committed to building a trusted relationship with both pets and their owners.
